The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) took significant action in the first quarter of 2023 to crack down on unauthorised housing colonies in Faisalabad.
The FDA took this action by sealing a total of 80 such colonies and razing their buildings.
In response to a remark made by an FDA representative on Monday, the authority’s officers have taken initiative to make sure that developers follow laws and regulations.
As a result of these violations during the previous four months, they filed proceedings against the developers of 102 housing developments. In addition, 102 challans have been delivered to the appropriate court of law for additional legal action.
With its actions, the FDA has made it clear that it is committed to upholding the law and halting illegal activity in the housing industry.It is essential that developers follow the rules established by regulatory bodies. The FDA is still on the lookout and will continue to take severe action against anyone or any group discovered to be breaking the law.
