Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and Bushra Bibi’s wedding were allegedly “frauded” at, according to a witness who testified in court.
Express News said that Aun Chaudhry, who served as former prime minister Imran Khan’s political secretary, matter involving the legality of the marriage to Bushra Bibi during the iddat era.
When a Muslim woman’s husband passes away or the marriage is dissolved, she is required to follow the iddat period, which is a waiting time.
Muhammad Hanif, a Pakistani citizen, filed a petition that revealed Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s purportedly un-Islamic Nikkah.
Aun Chaudhry revealed that he was Imran Khan’s personal and political secretary and that he was extremely close to him during the hearing while also presenting his identity card. He said that he had managed Imran Khan’s whole personal and political affairs.
Imran’s divorce from his first wife, Reham Khan, allegedly occurred in 2015 as a result of Bushra Bibi’s request that the former prime grant her divorce promptly.
Reham Khan wasn’t in the nation at the time, but Imran Khan divorced her via email on Bushra Bibi’s recommendation, he said.
He revealed that Imran was in great mental pain following his divorce and continued pleading with the two had a number of encounters before the marriage was publicised.

“Imran told me on December 31, 2017, that he would wed Bushra Bibi the following day. Bushra Bibi was already married, which astonished me and I informed him. Bushra Bibi was reportedly divorced, according to Imran Khan,” he said.
Aun Chaudhry stated that on January 1, 2018, Imran Khan gave them instructions for making marriage preparations. He also claimed that he travelled to Lahore with PTI official Zulfi Bukhari and Mufti Saeed, the cleric who performed the couple’s Nikkah, to witness Imran Khan’s marriage.

According to Chaudhry, the waiting time (iddat) had not been finished by January 1, 2018, when the marriage took place since Bushra Bibi had obtained a divorce in November 2017. As a result, the waiting period had not been finished. He said that Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan were both aware of this and that the incident had garnered media attention.
“Imran Khan claimed that the waiting time will end on February 18, 2018, and he wanted me to set up the wedding on that day. Between February 14 and February 18, 2018, the waiting time has to be finished. While the first Nikkah of Imran Khan had taken place in Karachi, the second one was held in Bani Gala.
