Alia Bhatt
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently shared her vices and stance on the seven deadly sins—lust, envy, pride, anger, sloth, greed, and gluttony—which provided a glimpse into her personality. The actor mentioned her fondness of basic home-cooked meals like dal-chawal, bhindi ki sabzi, tadka dahi and achaar, along with a milk cake for dessert, when discussing gluttony.
When Alia discussed her rage and the hatred she gets when dealing with ineptitude, the subject of her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor came up. The actor said in an interview with Vice India that “the one thing that immediately puts me into a fit of anger is incompetence. Doesn’t like it if my voice goes above this decibel because he thinks it is not fair, and that it is important to be kind even when you are unhappy.” Additionally, Alia said that she envies Ranbir’s serenity since he has a “saint-like mind.”
Next, Alia was asked to speak briefly on other faults including arrogance, laziness, and greed. As she discussed her box office hit from the previous year, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia said with a smile, “A moment of pride that I don’t feel guilty about was when Gangubai Kathiawadi was a commercial success at the box office, because it was my first association with my dream filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and I am really happy that we were able to do that together.”
The actor also discussed how, when she doesn’t start her day with exercise, she feels lethargic for the entire 24 hours. She also recounted how, after ordering skin care items she already had plenty of, she learned a lesson in greed when it wasn’t delivered to her since it was lost in customs. When requested to share any of her “drunk story,” Alia said, “I would never share my drunk story with you, sorry,” bringing the video to a close.
