The survivors have decided to challenge the judgement to the High Court.
Many families have left Maliana village, which is located outside of Meerut, since MAY 23, 1987, when 68 Muslims were slain there. However, other families chose to stay, and they engaged in a protracted legal struggle that culminated in grief last week.
