Zoya Akhtar
Zoya Akhtar, a director-producer best known for her work on the films “Gully Boy,” “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara,” and “Dil Dhadakane Do,” is getting ready to launch her new streaming series “Dahaad,” which she co-created with Reema Kagti.
As a creative working in a group setting, Zoya believes it’s critical to establish a set of agreed values since it promotes clarity of thinking and helps to polish the story.
Speaking on the subject, Zoya Akhtar told IANS: “Having a common set of values is crucial whether you co-write or co-create a project. Only until your value systems are compatible will you be able to tell your narrative fully. Things start coming to you naturally once you have an idea. The choice of what gets included in the frame and what doesn’t is then yours.
The series’ producer, Zoya Akhtar, stated that she finds her power in creative creation.
“Creative creation is more my area of strength. I can bring a cast and crew together and work on how the finished product will appear visually, but I wouldn’t say that managing the finances and logistics, which are expected of a conventional producer, is my best area, Zoya Akhtar said.
From May 12, “Dahaad” will be viewable on Prime Video.
