For the past few days, Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt has been the centre of attention. The actress is in Seoul, Korea for the Gucci Cruise 2024 show as a worldwide brand ambassador, which is the cause. On social media, each of Alia Bhatt’s reactions to the occasion has been discussed and scrutinised. Alia received social media teasing after it was discovered that the celebrity was arriving at the event with a clear bag that was nearly empty. The celebrity responded by posting a number of pictures from the cruise performance with the very plain caption, “Yes, the bag was empty.” However, it’s not the caption that’s getting people online talking. Some people have caught sight of one of the images published in the carousel.
When a Reddit user juxtaposed the photo provided by Alia Bhatt with the actual photo with a Getty Images watermark, it sparked a discussion about retouching. The person said, “Original vs Photoshopped pic posted by Alia,” pointing out changes in Alia’s face, leg, and arm in the caption. Look at how the face, arms and legs have changed; notice how the bench line is curled next to her leg, which is a definite sign of Photoshop.
Many users agreed with the remark and added their own observations. “There is obvious distortion in the seat area and in the center-right background around her waist,” one person said. The neck and legs also seem to be getting smoother. The fact that Alia’s post was edited doesn’t bother me. Celebrities frequently behave in that way. For me, the main problem is how badly Photoshop is executed. It does little to improve the ensemble, which is already tarnished by style flaws. Another irony is that Alia talked about body positivity but afterwards used photoshop to alter her postings.
“I noticed that she always photoshopped her arms,” another user observed. Her face has also been altered using Photoshop to seem longer and slimmer. She tries to do it gently so that it’s not too evident, but her Instagram photos always differ greatly from what she actually does.

“I was moping around over my flabby arms. She’s not an exception, but it’s strange how many celebrities with seemingly flawless bodies, skin treatments, clothing, etc., need to retouch their pictures. It’s unfortunate how lacking in confidence one may be when everything is wonderful, according to one response.
Alia Bhatt is Gucci’s newest brand ambassador and the first person from India. “I am honoured to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but on a global stage,” Alia remarked after the announcement.
