Ameesha established a strong reputation for herself in the industry after making her cinematic debut in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Her charm, acting prowess, and eccentric personality were more than enough to win the audience’s hearts. The actress has kept her aura throughout Gadar 2 as well.
Ameesha Patel received numerous star-driven, big-budget Bollywood films after becoming well-known in the industry with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, but it appears that the actress turned them down. She discussed it in an interview with ETimes and said she couldn’t possibly regret passing on movies like Salman Khan’s Tere Naam, Munnabhai MBBS, and Chalte Chalte, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
Ameesha Patel said, “There were a lot of movies I couldn’t do. Due to scheduling conflicts, I declined them, so I couldn’t feel bad about it. As the interview continued, she revealed that among the numerous reasons she was unable to work on these films was her commitment to other endeavors. She remarked, “I had already committed.”
On the other hand, after Ameesha turned down the offers, Rani Mukerji starred in Shah Rukh Khan’s Chalte Chalte, Gracy Singh appeared in Sanjay Dutt’s Munnabhai MBBS, and Bhumika Chawla and Salman Khan appeared in Tere Naam.
