Shehbaz Sharif, a former prime minister, departs for London
According to ARY News, which cited PML-N sources, the former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif departed for London on Sunday to meet with party leader Nawaz Sharif.
The PML-N president will meet with party chief Nawaz Sharif on his visit to London, according to a message shared on X (previously known as Twitter) by Marriyum Aurangzeb.
There are rumours that Nawaz Sharif would soon return to Pakistan, which is why the visit is taking place. The party hasn’t, however, made any official declarations as of yet.
According to party insiders, Nawaz Sharif intended to visit Pakistan in the middle of September 2023.
According to sources, Saif Ul Malook Khokhar and President Youth Wing Lahore Malik Faisal will also go for London today. They will provide Nawaz Sharif a report on the organisational structure of the Punjabi capital when they are there.
According to sources, the senior leadership will discuss Nawaz Sharif’s move to return to Pakistan, and the PML-N’s legal counsel will also be there.
Rana Sanaullah, a key official in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), previously claimed that the party had received the assurance it had requested for the return of Nawaz Sharif.
After the general election results are announced, Sharif will return to Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah stated during a private television programme.
