The owner of PSL franchise Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, has made hints that two additional teams might join the Pakistan Super League in the future.
During a recent Facebook Q&A session, Javed announced the admission of two additional clubs to the Pakistan Super League, which sparked a flurry of PSL rumors. As a result of this information, cricket fans are eagerly awaiting the identities and results of the new teams in the upcoming season.
The league, which was established in 2015, is managed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). There are six teams in it, including Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators, representing different parts of Pakistan. Each team in the league plays the other twice in a round-robin format, with the top four teams moving on to the playoffs.

For eleven years, Javed Afridi was the owner of the cricket team Peshawar Zalmi. The PCB has not yet formally announced that the squads from Sialkot and Faisalabad would be playing.
