Plot
Four brothers named Saji, Bonny, Bobby, and Frankie reside in a small, run-down home in the Kumbalangi village. Bobby and Franky were born when Saji’s father wed Bonny’s mother. Saji becomes the head of the household after their mother abandons the boys to join a religious mission after their father passes away. Bobby, a young unemployed man, and Saji frequently quarrel because Saji struggles with controlling his rage. Although Bonny is mute and compassionate, and Saji and Bobby make Franky feel bad, they get along well.
Bobby begins dating a local girl named Baby. He eventually asks her to marry him, but she first wants to talk to her family. Saji agrees to go with Bobby when he asks her to meet Shammi, Baby’s brother-in-law. Shammi rejects the idea and makes fun of Bobby’s family’s low image in the community. In an effort to comfort Bobby, Saji advises him to get employment, which he does.
One day, Saji and Franky get into a physical altercation. Bonny strikes Saji while being fiercely protective of Franky. Saji leaves the house out of embarrassment and starts drinking with his friend Vijay. Saji tries to end his life while intoxicated. Vijay loses his life while trying to save Saji.
Due to his regret, Saji visits Vijay’s home to apologize to Sathi, only to discover that she is in labor. She gives birth to a girl in the hospital after he has taken her there. Sathi and her daughter are brought to Saji’s home. While this was happening, Bonny brought Nylah, an American traveler who had been expelled from the Shammi-run homestay because she had invited Bonny there, home. The two ladies give the household a semblance of being a typical family, which pleases Franky. Bobby even makes suggestions to freshen up their romantic relationships, such encouraging Bonny to take Nylah out to see the stars at night.
Later, Saji visits Shammi once more and begs him to reconsider the suggestion, but Shammi declines. Baby decides she wants to leave with Bobby. When Shammi learns of Baby’s plans, she becomes aggressive and abusive. While taking them captive in their own house, he abuses Baby, her sister, and their mother. Bobby becomes concerned when Baby doesn’t answer his calls and decides to check on her. When Bobby’s brothers offer to assist, the four people show up at Baby’s residence. By working together, they are able to capture Shammi in a fishing net and release the women. Bobby and Baby marry after being reunited at last.
